Vantage Upload Paper App Form

(Not for CarePlus or apps with Credit Card payment method!)

Benefits of Vantage

Timely submission – logging in and completing the short form which securely emails your application PDF is often easier to access than a fax machine, and submitting apps quickly typically means quicker turnaround times for processing.

Extra tracking – you receive 2 communications per submission 1) a copy of the submission with date/time stamp and 2) a notification confirming if the submission was accepted or denied into the process.

No longer wonder if all pages are transmitted – you confirm the scanned file wasn’t corrupt or locked, all pages were present, and everything showed clear and legible leading to seamless receipt and potentially reducing pends.

How to use this method:

  1. Confirm your email address in your Vantage profile
  2. Register that same email address with Humana Secure Mail (Note: Career agents don’t need to do this step since their @humana.com email is already secure, select partner agents may not have to do this step either if their domains are TLS approved)
  3. Scan your application into a PDF format
    1. Applications should be written with black ink so the characters are dark and stand out
    2. Resolution should be medium to high to ensure the scan has a distinct image on each page
  4. Open the “Upload Paper Applications” form on the Quote and Enroll card in Vantage
    1. Review the guidance on the top of the form (click the + sign) for how to successfully email paper application documents via Vantage
    2. Complete the form fields, including adding your single attachment, and click submit

Humana Enrollment Document Transmitter App

(Ensure Medicare Mailroom is selected, not Commercial!)

Benefits of Humana Enrollment Document Transmitter App:

Timely submission – those with smartphones typically have them on them at all times, with the transmitter app there is no need to wait until you are near a fax machine to submit your apps, you can even submit them at the end of the appointment, and submitting apps quickly typically means quicker turnaround times for processing

Extra tracking – you receive an email confirmation that your app was received

No longer wonder if all pages are transmitted – you confirm each page picture is present, cropped to show the full page with no unnecessary backgrounds, and brightened if necessary to ensure everything shows clear and legible, which all leads to seamless receipt and potentially reducing pends

How to use this method:

  1. Download the free app to your smartphone
    1. Available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
    2. Search Humana Enrollment Doc Transmitter App
    3. If downloaded previously, ensure you have the most current version of the app by installing any outstanding updates
  2. Get a quick refresher or answers to questions
    1. Access the ‘Information’ section of the app by clicking the ‘I’ in the upper left-hand corner of the ‘Start’ screen
    2. There’s useful information within the User Guide and FAQ’s on the app (e.g. Support questions, User Steps, etc.)

  3. Submit enrollment applications from your smartphone in the transmitter app by simply taking a photo of each page
    1. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to take the photos, crop, and adjust the brightness if necessary
    2. On screen instructions will help you submit your finalized photo submission
