Q: When will this be available to us to access and use?
A: A sandbox/test site will be available in early September 2020. The platform can be used to quote plans starting October 1st and to enroll in plans starting October 15th, 2020.
Q: Is the “search for beneficiary” search within the book of business?
A: Yes. The search results will only return what is in each agent’s own book of business. Books of business are not shared between agents.
Q: Some seniors have sight issues. Has this been tested for vision issues?
A: Yes. This platform has been tested for/by seniors and has passed all Accessibility testing. Additionally, you can zoom in with browser settings or by clicking the “Ctrl” button and scrolling on your mouse.
Q: Is there/will there be a User Guide for this?
A: Additional training materials will be provided including, but not limited to, recorded demos.
Q: What is Connecture?
A: Connecture or ConnectureDRX is the company that built the platform Broker Connect that Plan Advisors has licensed for brokers to use.
Q: Is the beneficiary following along with the same screens when you are discussing or is this only for agents?
A: This is dependent on preference as long as the broker and the Plan Advisor Team are adhering to compliance rules and regulations.
Q: Will this interface with the various CRMs?
A: No. Not currently but we are looking at integrating in the future.
Q: Can we input offline and submit app when we are online again?
A: No, not today.
Q: Can brokers enter profiles prior to October 1st, 2020?
A: The Plan Advisor Team will be reaching out to all brokers to preload your books of business. This will be a one-time option so please be on the lookout for this communication.
Q: Is Plan Advisors doing any advertising to help combat any ads?

Q: Where is the SOA maintained?
A: The SOA is maintained and stored in the beneficiary’s profile.
Q: Can this platform be used for age-in for 2020?
A: The site this year will only be able to take enrollment for Plan Year 2021. So if a beneficiary is aging in and wants to select a plan to start January 1, 2021 then this platform can be used. If a beneficiary wants plan coverage prior to January 1, 2021 then this platform will not be set up to take that enrollment this year.
Q: Will this tool be available for ACA Marketplace plans?

A: Yes. This platform will work in Safari.
Q: Does anyone else have access to my book of business?
Q: How can we find out which carriers we are contracted with through Plan Advisors?

Q: Will this program allow us to see if a beneficiary has Medicaid or LIS?
A: It will not allow you to see or validate if they have Medicaid or LIS but it will allow you to shop as though the beneficiary has Medicaid or LIS. If the enrollment is submitted and the beneficiary is not eligible, the carrier will be responsible for working that out with the beneficiary and agent.
Q: When we search for a beneficiary, will it tell us if they are being serviced by another broker?
A: No. Reminder your book of business is exclusive to you and not shared.
Q: Can we contract with carriers not currently under Plan Advisors?
A: It depends on circumstances. Reach out to email@example.com for your specific circumstance.
Q: Is this platform a CRM?
A: No. However, Plan Advisors offers a free CRM tool, ProducerMAX. For more information reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Will the site display all plans available for the zip code?
A: Yes, the site will return all plans available in the selected service area.
Q: Will plans like Select Health in Idaho show up since agents are direct to them?
A: If the plan is available on Medicare.gov, it will be displayed on Broker Connect. If the agent is not licensed to sell the plan, the agent will not be able to add the plan to the cart and proceed to enrollment.
Q: Will a quote include the list of drugs with the costs per plan?
A: Yes, the list of drugs and associated costs are sent with the quote.
Q: Is Medicare Supplement going to be offered on this platform as well?
A: Yes. Medicare Supplement will be provided for certain carriers. Reach out to email@example.com to confirm the Medicare Supplement carriers who will be offered.
Q: Will this platform load cost plans in areas that have them available?
Q: How long does the Enrollment form retain the information after you leave the app?
A: The information in the enrollment form is saved to the member’s profile for the entire AEP and SEP seasons (the full year).
Q: Does the enrollment form prompt for missing/incomplete fields?
A: Yes. Most if not all input fields on the form have validations in place. These validations are directed by the carriers.
Q: Will signatures be able to be typed in or only drawn with mouse or finger?
Q: After a broker enrolls a beneficiary in a carrier plan are there any other steps the broker needs to take?
A: From a Broker Connect standpoint, no. However, brokers will want to check their agent portal with specific carriers for the status of the app.
Q: Will all drug plans be shown or only the ones you are certified to sell?
A: All Drug Plans will be shown. The plans you are certified to sell you can add to cart and proceed with enrollment.
Q: Does the system identify generics when a brand name is entered?
A: Yes. If a generic is available, you will be given the option to select it or keep the brand name.
Q: Do beneficiaries have to have Medicare.gov account to add/save prescriptions drugs to their account?
A: No. Agents can add prescription drugs to their beneficiary’s profiles manually, however, If a beneficiary has a Medicare.gov account then the prescription drug list can be automatically prepopulated by using the Blue Button integration on the site. A Medicare.gov account is only required for the use of Blue Button.
Q: Once you’ve added prescription drug to a client’s profile will it save so you don’t have to enter it again?
